March 2026 Update

There are some exciting updates to the website.

First up is the Landforms Map. You know it as my favorite thing on the website, and now it includes the May 2025 Tornado path that went through Russel, Pulaski and Laurel Counties, so you can see where the destruction was through the national forest and stay away from those areas. The map now also includes all Kentucky WMAs as well as all Kentucky State Park lands on it. Still working on nature preserves, federal lands, as well as a couple others. Lastly, I have added the rainfall since midnight as a layer from Kentucky Mesonet. It is turned off by default but give it a try and play with the new layers and trying different combos.

Next up is the new Leads Map, which is a new map that I am using to test out a new map look. Please go check it out and let me know your thoughts on it. Would love to have some feedback. Submit any feedback on the map, your wishes for items, layers, etc. to be included on the new retooled maps HERE.
